CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's soccer team saw their win streak come to an end with a tough 4-0 defeat at DeSales University on Tuesday afternoon in a Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom contest.
The teams battled up and down the field over the first 10 minutes of the game. The Bulldogs (3-11-1, 2-2-0 MAC Freedom) were able to get a few shots off, but each went wide or high of the goal. The Dutchmen (5-5-2, 2-2-0 MAC Freedom) had an opportunity to score in the 13th minute but a shot by
Abrielle Miller sailed just left of the goal. The Bulldogs countered with a pair of shots off the crossbar before scoring the first goal of the game in the 26th minute. DeSales increased the advantage to 2-0 in the 34th minutes as a cross from the right side was headed in.
LVC came out strong in the second half as they pressed early for a goal. The Dutchmen earned a corner kick in the 47th minute and were poised to score but a shot to the lower left of the goal by
Jordan Lasky was kept out by a Bulldog defender. LVC kept the pressure on and earned two more corner attempts.
Reagan McCarty had her shot sail just wide right on the second of the two corners. The Bulldogs were able to counter LVC's attack and score in the 58th minute off a turnover. The final goal of the match came in the 81st minute off a crossing pass from the endline. Lebanon Valley fought valiantly to get on the board but were not able to get the ball into the back of the net.

- LVC controlled possession 58 percent of the match with most of their possession happening in the midfield.
- Miller led the team in shot with three while Sierra Young had two shots.
- Lasky and Emma Houck had a shot on goal each.
- Jocelyn Umana made eight saves in goal.

The Dutchmen will host King's College on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. in an important conference matchup. The game is also the last home game of the regular season for the Dutchmen.
