ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley women's ice hockey goaltender Olivia Magneson was honored by both the Middle Atlantic Conference and United Collegiate Hockey Conference on Monday by being named MAC Defensive Player of the Week and UCHC Goaltender of the Week.

The net minder earns her third conference weekly awards of this season. Magneson was a brick wall with 30 saves to pick up her third shutout of the season in an important 4-0 victory over Neumann on Saturday evening in her only action of the week. The junior made impressive save after impressive save keeping the Knights off the board in Hershey making seven saves in the first period, 12 in the second, and 11 in the third period. Magneson stopped 16 shots on Neumann power-play opportunities including six during a 3:18 stretch during the second period where the Dutchmen were on the penalty kill.

The Dutchmen will take a break from conference play this weekend for some nonconference action as they head up to face Anna Maria College on Friday night at 7:50 p.m.
