HERSHEY, Pa. – Katrina Strauts and
Ioanna Christou played a part in all four goals as the Lebanon Valley women's ice hockey team earned a huge 4-1 victory over Chatham University on Saturday afternoon at Hersheypark Arena.
Christou got the scoring started midway through the first period off an assist from Strauts. The Dutchmen (7-10-0, 4-8-0 UCHC) frustrated the Cougars (8-10-1, 7-6-1 UCHC) all period and went into the first intermission with a 1-0 lead. It didn't take long for the Cougars to even things up in the second period as they scored 24 seconds into the frame. LVC was unfazed and put the pressure on as they looked for the go-ahead goal. That goal came at 7:43 as
Alexa Spiers snuck a bullet into the back of the net off an assist by Christou. Two minutes later, Strauts added to the lead off an assist from
