MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – The Lebanon Valley women's ice hockey squad set their win streak to three after a strong 4-1 win at Anna Maria College on Saturday afternoon, sweeping the weekend series.
Anna Maria was first to get on the board in the contest with a goal at 2:21 in the first period. Lebanon Valley (6-9-0 Overall, 3-7-0 UCHC) then responded with an unassisted shorthanded goal by
Brenna Mulcahy at 11:48. At 13:22,
Alexa Spiers then put away another goal for LVC off a puck from
Cheyenne Wilk to take the 2-1 lead going into the second period. The beginning of the second period was a back-and-forth duel between both teams. At 15:04, Spiers fired away a power play goal off a slap shot rebound from
Ioanna Christou to gain the 3-1 lead heading into the third period.
Katrina Strauts put away the lone goal of the third period at 5:42 off a puck from
Erin Yorke. The Dutchmen held Anna Maria scoreless for the remainder of the match up to finalize the 4-1 victory.

- Spiers put away two goals on the afternoon, as Mulcahy and Strauts each netted one.
- Christou, Wilk, and Yorke each dished out assists in the contest.
- Spiers led the shots column with four, as Wilk followed with three.
- Jade Julius grabbed a season-high of five blocks, and Irina Brady put up three.
- Olivia Magneson stood strong in goal today for the Dutchmen, stopping 33 shots.
