Leidich Tallies Goal Against Bryn Mawr

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Sarah Leidich scored her second career goal for the Lebanon Valley College field hockey team in a hard-fought defensive battle with visiting Bryn Mawr College on Wednesday evening on Arnold Field in Annville. The Owls stayed unbeaten with a 3-1 win over the Dutchmen.

Bryn Mawr (3-0) got on the board in the second quarter when Kate Ervin converted a penalty stroke. LVC came out of the halftime break strong and pressured the Owls for much of the third quarter. Leidich tied things up with a goal in the 44th minute on a shot from the left side. Bryn Mawr scored twice early in the fourth quarter to retake the lead. The Owls converted their second penalty stroke of the game 2:06 into the final period and then scored a little over a minute later to cushion their lead.
