Annville, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's soccer team took their first victory of the season after then walked away with a 5-1 win over Eastern Mennonite on Monday afternoon.
Lebanon Valley (1-2) did not hesitate to get on the board, as
Aidan Negron put away the first goal off an assist from
Connor Given in the 11
th minute. Eastern Mennonite (0-3) responded three minutes later to make it a tied game. The remainder of the first half both teams put up a fight but went into half-time with a 1-1 game. In the second half LVC put their foot on the gas and did not hesitate to get on the board. In the 48

Peter Foerster put away a goal off a ball from Negron. Two minutes later,
Zach Reed followed with another goal off an assist from Foerster to make it a 3-1 game. The Dutchmen were not slowing down, as in the 57
th minute
Aaron Weitzel put a header into the goal off another Foerster assist. In the 62
nd minute,
Anderson Velozwong capped off the 5-1 LVC victory with a successful penalty kick.
Inside the Box
- Foerster led the Dutchmen with a four-point game consisting of a goal and two assists.
- Negron slotted a three-point afternoon with a goal and an assist.
- Reed, Weitzel, and Velozwong each tallied a goal, and Given dished out an assist.
- Dalton Fittlerling and Edward Zellner each stood in goal for LVC, limiting the Royals to one goal.
