ANNVILLE, Pa. – Charlie McCormick found the back of the net in the 10th minute for his second goal of the year for the Lebanon Valley College men's soccer team on Wednesday afternoon against Elizabethtown College at Herbert Field. The visiting Blue Jays scored twice in the second half to defeat the Dutchmen 3-1.
Elizabethtown got on the board first in the fifth minute as Pedro Guizardi snuck a ball inside the right post off a free kick. A few minutes later LVC struck right back as
Peter Foerster sent a pass down the right side for McCormick. The junior took a touch in the box and then sent the ball into the back of the net to even the score. The Blue Jays retook the lead in the 59th minute as Jeffery Bennett scored off a crossing pass from the right corner. 20 minutes later the visitors added an insurance goal on a corner kick.

- McCormick scored his sixth career goal on his only shot of the game.
- Foerster recorded his team-leading 10th point on his fourth assist of the year. He now has 12 assists and 40 points for his career.
- Dalton Fitterling made eight saves in goal equaling his season-high.
- Zach Reed took three shots while Aaron Weitzel and Nathan Prex had two shots each.
