ASTON, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's soccer team took a come-back 2-1 win over Neumann on Saturday afternoon in Aston.
Neumann (2-6-0) was the first team to get on the board in the contest with a goal in the 11th minute. Lebanon Valley (5-4-0) was able to tie up the game with a goal from
Aaron Weitzel off a ball from
Zach Reed in the 35th minute. The Dutchmen and Knights went into the half tied 1-1. Less than two minutes in to the second half,
Anderson Velozwong put the game-winner in the back of the net with an assist from
Nathan Prex.
Inside the Box
- Weitzel and Velozwong each put away a goal in the match up. Each also put up two shots on goal
- Prex and Reed both tallied a point after each handed out an assist.
- Dalton Fitterling made six saves on the afternoon.
- The Dutchmen and Knights both tied with 19 shots overall and seven on cage.
Who's Next
The Dutchmen will return to Herbert Field to face Elizabethtown on Wednesday afternoon. Kick-off is set for 4 p.m.
