CARLISLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's soccer team landed back into the win column with a road 2-1 victory at Dickinson Wednesday evening.
Lebanon Valley (4-4-0) opened scoring on the evening with a goal in the fourth minute from
Peter Foerster, off a ball from
Aaron Weitzel. The Dutchmen held Dickinson (5-4) until the 30th minute when they put their lone goal in the back of the net, to tie the game 1-1 going into halftime.
Nathan Prex then put away the second goal of the evening in the 67th minute to secure the 2-1 win for the Dutchmen.
Inside the Box
- Foerster and Prex both had two-point games on the evening with a goal each. Weitzel notched one point from his assist.
- Zach Reed put two shots on goal, while Anderson Velozwong, Foerster, Prex, and Weitzel each put up one.
- Dalton Fitterling made three saves in the contest.
- The Dutchmen were outshot 15-12 overall, but outshot Dickinson 6-4 on goal.
Who's Next
The Dutchmen will continue their tour on the road as they head down to Neumann University in Aston, Pa. on Saturday afternoon. Kick-off is slotted for 1 p.m.
