Kline Records Three Shots and A Defensive Save In Field Hockey Conference Opener

ANNVILLE, Pa – Emily Kline led the Lebanon Valley College field hockey team with three shots and a defensive save in the team's Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth (MAC Commonwealth) opener on Saturday afternoon at Arnold Field. The visiting Spartans of York College of Pennsylvania won the game 5-0.
 
York scored twice in the first quarter, once in the second, and then two times in the third to improve to 5-1 on the season. The Spartans were receiving votes in this week's NFHCA Top 20 Poll.

  • Kline took a season-high three shots and made her first defensive save of the year.
  • Justice Washburn also had a defensive save in the game.
  • Kayleigh Kmet made five saves in goal and Devyn Goyette made two in 21:08 minutes of action.
What's Next
The Dutchmen will be back on Arnold Field on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. hosting Gettysburg College in non-conference action.
