ANNVILLE, Pa. – Alison Sepkovic opened up scoring for Lebanon Valley on Saturday afternoon against Haverford with her first collegiate goal.
Lebanon Valley (0-2-2) was first to get on the board during their home opener with a Sepkovic goal off a pass from
Reagan McCarty in the first minute. The next 43 minutes consisted of a defensive battle for the Dutchmen, but the Fords were able to tie the game in the 44
th minute to go into halftime 1-1. Both teams came out strong in the second half, but it was Haverford (3-0-1) who was able to cap off a win with a second goal in the 59
th minute. LVC continued to fight but fell to the Fords 2-0.
Inside the Box
- Sepkovic had a two-point game with a goal, as McCarty tallied one point with an assist.
- Sepkovic and Kyra Rishell put up LVC's two shots on goal
- Jocelyn Umana once again made some huge saves in net. The junior put up another 10 saves in between the pipes.
Who's Next
The Dutchmen will stay at home on Herbert Field to host Scranton University on Wednesday afternoon. Kick-off is slated for 4 p.m.
