Bollinger, Federowicz, and Ralston Each Put Two Goals Away at Stevenson

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Lebanon Valley College men's lacrosse team dropped in the conference contest to the Stevenson University Mustangs on Wednesday evening, 26-8. Jake Bollinger, Evan Federowicz, and Trey Ralston each netted two goals for the Dutchmen.  
 
Lebanon Valley (7-7 Overall, 2-3 MAC Commonwealth) and Stevenson (9-5, 4-1 MAC Commonwealth) went back-and-forth with scoring for the first six minutes of the matchup, leaving it tied 2-2 with 9:43 remaining in the first quarter. The Mustangs then put away 11 goals in the back of the cage, until Federowicz and Bollinger each replied with a goal to go into half-time trailing Stevenson 13-4. Despite a goal from Colin Hughes, and Bollinger in the third quarter, the Mustangs put eight more goals past the Dutchmen defense. In the fourth quarter, Ralston dished out two goals, but Stevenson put away five to end the 26-8 defeat over LVC.
 
Inside the Box Score
 
  • Federowicz topped the points category for LVC with four points on the evening, as he netted two goals and handed out two assists. The attacker also picked up three ground balls. 
  • Bollinger and Ralston both had three-point games, both Dutchmen contributing two goals and passing out an assist. Bollinger also grabbed four ground balls in the contest.
  • Alex Kiviniemi and Hughes had two-point games for the Dutchmen, each tallying a goal and an assist. Hughes picked up three ground balls for LVC.
  • Zach Wanous and Ben Weathersby each contributed on the defensive end for the Dutchmen. Wanous caused two turnovers and picked up two ground balls, as Weatherby grabbed three ground balls. 
  • Nick Serrano and William Ward both spent time in cage for LVC for a combined 16 saves. Serrano also tallied three ground balls on the evening. 
 
Who's Next
The Dutchmen will be on the road again on Saturday, as they face the Falcons of Messiah University. Face-off is set for 2:00 p.m.
