ANNVILLE, Pa. – Evan Federowicz recorded his first career hat trick to lead the Lebanon Valley College men's lacrosse squad to a 13-8 victory over visiting Goucher College on Saturday afternoon at Arnold Field.
 
Federowicz scored all three of his goals in the first half to give the Dutchmen a lead they would never relinquish. He scored the first two goals of the game and then added his third to begin the second quarter and give LVC a 4-2 lead.
 
Inside the Numbers

• Alex Kiviniemi had another strong game for the Dutchmen recording five points on three goals and two assists. He recorded his third hat trick of the year and equaled his career high in points. He leads the team with 10 goals and five assists this year.
• Carson Frey had two goals and one assist while Trey Ralston dished out three assists. Jake Bollinger was the third Dutchman with three points recording two goals and an assist.
• Nick Serrano had another great game in goal stopping eight shots to earn his 10th career victory.
• The Dutchmen recorded a season-high 21 points on 13 goals and eight assists to win their first game of the year on Arnold Field. LVC scored three man-up goals.
• Gavin Porter had a great day on face-offs winning 12 of 15. Mitchell Gearhart won four of his nine attempts while Brendan Kernan won his only opportunity.
• Ben Weathersby led the defense with a career-high 11 ground balls

 
Who's Next
LVC will have the week off before facing King's College next Saturday on Arnold Field. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m. against the Monarchs.
