ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College men's tennis team had a strong performance on Saturday morning as the squad defeated visiting King's College 8-0 at the Shankroff Tennis Center.
The Dutchmen (6-5) won all three doubles matches and then five of the six singles matches before rain forced the match to end early.
Inside the Box Score
- LVC won 8-0 at both second and third doubles. The teams of Brendan Byler and William Harriger and Jeffrey Bauer and Brady McLucas made quick work of their Monarch counterparts to give the Dutchmen the lead.
- Justin Schuetz and Adam Warren won their number one doubles match 8-6. Schuetz then controlled his number one singles match 6-2, 6-0.
- Bauer won at number two singles 6-0, 6-0 while Michael Schuetz won his number five singles match 6-1, 6-1.
- Byler won at number three singles 6-2, 6-2. McLucas won his number four singles match 6-3, 6-2.
- Nicholas Simon won his first set 6-4 at number six singles but did not play the second set due to rain.

The Dutchmen will face Cabrini University on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. on the courts of the Shankroff Tennis Center.
