ANNVILLE, Pa. – Sophomore
Brady McLucas continued his great spring season on Monday afternoon as he recorded another singles win for the Lebanon Valley College men's tennis team in a hard-fought battle against Ursinus College at the Shankroff Tennis Center. The visiting Bears defeated the Dutchmen 8-1.
Ursinus (4-2) won all three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches. LVC (5-5) took two of the singles matches to three sets.
Inside the Box Score
- McLucas earned a 6-4, 6-4 victory at number five singles to improve to 5-1 this spring. The sophomore has won his last two matches.
- Adam Warren took Rob Ritchie to three sets at number three singles. Ritchie took the first set 7-6 and 7-4 in the tiebreaker. Warren came right back and won set two 6-0 but fell 10-3 in the third set.
- Brendan Byler also went three sets at number four singles. Darby Rogers won the first set 6-4 before Byler won the second 6-4. Rogers won 10-3 in the third set.
Who's Next
The Dutchmen are scheduled to return to the courts on Wednesday with a 3:30 p.m. first serve at Gettysburg College. They will be back at Shankroff on Saturday hosting King's College.
