Bollinger, Hughes Record Two Points Each Against Eagles

ANNVILLE, Pa. Jake Bollinger scored two goals and Colin Hughes had two assists as the Lebanon Valley men's lacrosse team fell to visiting University of Mary Washington 14-3 on Wednesday afternoon on Arnold Field.
 
The Eagles scored the first nine goals of the game keeping the Dutchmen off the scoreboard for the first three quarters. Bollinger scored with 13:35 to go in the fourth quarter to put LVC on the board. UMW outscored the Dutchmen 5-3 in the fourth to set the final
 
Inside the Numbers
  • Bollinger scored twice to give him five goals on the season and 24 in his career.The sophomore has 44 career points.
  • Hughes recorded his second multi-point game of the year with two assists to give him six. The first-year attacker leads the team in assists and has recorded at least one is every game this year.
  • Carson Frey continued his point streak to start the season with his sixth goal of the year. Frey scored a man-up goal with just over nine minutes remaining.
  • Nick Serrano made a season-high 21 saves in goal while facing 50 shots.
Who's Next
The Dutchmen will look to rebound on Saturday when they host Goucher College at 1 p.m. on Arnold Field.
