Jake Bollinger scored two goals and
Colin Hughes had two assists as the Lebanon Valley men's lacrosse team fell to visiting University of Mary Washington 14-3 on Wednesday afternoon on Arnold Field.
The Eagles scored the first nine goals of the game keeping the Dutchmen off the scoreboard for the first three quarters. Bollinger scored with 13:35 to go in the fourth quarter to put LVC on the board. UMW outscored the Dutchmen 5-3 in the fourth to set the final
Inside the Numbers
- Bollinger scored twice to give him five goals on the season and 24 in his career.The sophomore has 44 career points.
- Hughes recorded his second multi-point game of the year with two assists to give him six. The first-year attacker leads the team in assists and has recorded at least one is every game this year.
- Carson Frey continued his point streak to start the season with his sixth goal of the year. Frey scored a man-up goal with just over nine minutes remaining.
- Nick Serrano made a season-high 21 saves in goal while facing 50 shots.
Who's Next
The Dutchmen will look to rebound on Saturday when they host Goucher College at 1 p.m. on Arnold Field.
