ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's basketball team gave its seniors a 68-46 win over Hood on Senior Day in a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth game on Saturday, Feb. 5 at Sorrentino Gymnasium.
 
LVC outscored Hood 24-14 in the second quarter, opening up a 40-27 lead at halftime. Seven different Dutchmen scored in the quarter and nine players posted points in the opening half. Kate Fitzpatrick paced the offense with 15 points before halftime and finished with a team-high 25.
 
Kennedy Kuffa overcame early foul trouble to finish with 16 points for LVC.
 
The LVC defense held Hood to under 30 percent shooting for the game.
 
Inside the Numbers

• LVC recognized seniors Cassiah Ray and Sofia Bowers in a Senior Day ceremony before the game.
• LVC's bench outscored Hood, 17-4.
• Fitzpatrick's 25 points was one shy of her career best of 26.
