KINGSTON, Pa. –
Jeffrey Bauer won in singles and doubles to lead the Lebanon Valley men's tennis squad in their spring opener at Wilkes University on Saturday. The Dutchmen dropped a close 5-4 decision to the Colonels on indoor courts at TK Academy in Kingston.
Wilkes won two out of the three doubles matches while the teams split the six singles matches.
Inside the Numbers
- Bauer teamed with William Harriger to earn a 8-1 victory at #3 doubles and won a marathon at #2 singles 6-0, 6-7, 12-10 over Nathanial Rathe.
- Adam Warren won in straight sets at #3 singles 7-5, 6-3 over John Toussaint.
- Brady McLucas won also a straight set winner at #5 singles with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Rodniel Senson.

The Dutchmen will be back in action on March 6 when they begin their spring break trip to Hilton Head, S.C. with a match against Albion College at 3:30 p.m. at Hilton Head Beach & Tennis
