READING, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's basketball team won its third straight game, beating Albright 55-47 in overtime in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play on Saturday, Feb. 12.
The Dutchmen outscored the Lions 13-5 in the extra session with contributions from
Kennedy Kuffa,
Allison Bimmer,
Cristina Fernandez, and
Kate Fitzpatrick.
In the fourth quarter, both teams combined for only 13 points. Albright clawed its way back from a seven-point deficit, holding LVC scoreless over the last six minutes to force overtime.
Fernandez led three Dutchmen in double figures, scoring a team-high 17 to go with six rebounds and four assists. Kuffa finished with 14 points, and Fitzpatrick registered 13.
Daelyn Stabler snagged nine boards to go with five points.
