PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Chatham scored in overtime to edge Lebanon Valley men's ice hockey, 3-2, in United Collegiate Hockey Conference action on Saturday, Feb. 12. The Dutchmen picked up a point in the contest.
After Chatham opened a 2-0 lead, LVC battled back with pair of third period goals from
Brad Viola and
Blake Tosto. Tosto's goal came at 18:12 to send the contest into overtime.
Zack Conner delivered the game-winner, his second of the game, to give Chatham the extra point for the overtime win.
For the Dutchmen,
Darion Benchich picked up assists on both goals, and
Harris Blackwood earned an assist on the tying goal.
Inside the Numbers
- Tosto scored his team-best 10th goal of the season and is tied with Alex Borowiec with a team-high 13 points.
- Benchich is second on the Dutchmen with eight assists, trailing Borowiec who has 13.
Who's Next
LVC (5-14-2, 4-10-2-1 UCHC) returns home for Senior Night on Friday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. against Arcadia. They travel to Arcadia on Saturday, Feb. 19 to finish the regular season.
