Alex Borowiec and
Mark Kishko each finished with two points as Lebanon Valley tied Manhattanville College 2-2 on Tuesday, Feb. 1 in United Collegiate Hockey Conference play. Manhattanville earned an extra point by scoring the only goal in the shootout.
Borowiec gave the Dutchmen a 1-0 advantage late in the first period, scoring on assists from Kishko and
Stefan Lakoseljac.
The Valiants tied the score at 1-1 early in the second. A goal from the right wing by
Cade Freer put LVC back in front, 2-1, with 7:32 to go. Kisko and Borowiec earned the assists on the play.
Artem Mateichenko tied the game at 14:59, and then both teams played scoreless through overtime.
Inside the Numbers
- After winning its previous two games, LVC has now earned a point in three consecutive contests.
- First-year goalie Ty Franchi, starting his third straight game, made a season-high 42 saves.
- Senior Tino Alunni is now 10th all-time in career games played for the Dutchmen with 68.

"We are happy to come in to Manhattanville and get at least one point. We deserved more, but will take the point. We are looking forward to King's on Friday and Wilkes on Saturday," said head coach
Don Parsons.
