HERSHEY, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's ice hockey team finished the weekend with a 1-0 win over the King's Monarchs to sweep the series on Saturday afternoon.
Lebanon Valley (3-8-0 Overall, 2-6-0 UCHC, 2-2-0 MAC) landed the lone goal of the game at 7:28 in the first period, as
Cheyenne Wilk put one away off a face off win from
Tiffany Anderson. The second and third period consisted of a duel between both teams, and despite the Monarchs' offensive efforts, LVC walked with the 1-0 victory.
Inside the Box
- Wilk netted a goal and Anderson put up an assist for a one-point evening.
- Anderson and Katrina Strauts led the shots column with seven each. Ioanna Christou and Alexa Spiers each tallied five shots, as Alexis Oukes and Wilk followed with four.
- Christou led the blocks column in the contest with two.
- Olivia Magneson made 19 saves in the contest, notching her second shutout of the season.

The Dutchmen will enter a month-long break from games as the semester comes to an end at Lebanon Valley. The squad will be back in action on Friday, Jan. 6 at Neumann University. Puck drop is slotted for 4 p.m.
