HERSHEY, Pa.— The Lebanon Valley men's ice hockey team fell in a tight knit 3-2 battle to the Golden Flyers in overtime on Friday evening. 
 
Lebanon Valley (0-3-0, 0-1-0 UCHC) tallied the first point of contest at 19:27 with an unassisted goal from 
Rais Francis to take the 1-0 lead going into the second period.  Both teams dueled throughout the second holding each other to a scoreless period. Jared Stevenson opened scoring in the third period at 10:10 off a passing sequence from 
Rais Francis and Cameron Croteau. Despite LVC's defensive efforts the Golden Flyers netted two goals at 16:58 and 17:14 to tie the match 2-2 to go into overtime. Nazareth (1-2-0, 1-0-0 UCHC) put away the game-winning overtime goal at 51 seconds to walk with the 3-2 win over the Dutchmen.
 
Inside the Box
	- Francis led the team with a two-point game with a goal and an assist. 
- Stevenson notched a one-point game with a goal, while Croteau handed out an assist. 
- Riley Johnson and Francis led the team with three shots.
- Gabriel Pigeon stood in cage for the Dutchmen, making 29 saves. 
Up Next
The Dutchmen will remain at Hersheypark Arena to face Nazareth for the second game of the series on Saturday afternoon. Puck drop is slated for 4 p.m.
