ANNVILLE, Pa. – Daelyn Stabler recorder her fourth career double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Lebanon Valley women's basketball team in a hard-fought 51-39 defeat to Albright College in the conference opener inside Sorrentino Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
 
The Lions opened the game on a 14-4 run to take a 10-point lead with 2:29 to play in the first quarter. LVC cut the lead down to six on a pair of jumpers by Stabler in the final minute of the quarter. Albright scored the first four points of the second quarter before Kate Fitzpatrick knocked down two jumpers and Riley Hevelow scored to cut the lead down to four points. Allison Bimmer scored on a layup with just over two minutes to go to bring the Dutchmen within two at 21-19. Albright, however, would score the final seven points of the half to take a nine-point advantage into the break. Lebanon Valley battled valiantly in the third quarter trading buckets with the Lions. Albright used a 6-0 run to take a 38-25 lead before LVC scored the final two points of the quarter. The Dutchmen came out strong in the fourth quarter with a 7-3 run to cut the lead down to seven points but that was as close as they would get.

• Stabler pulled down nine defensive rebounds and had three assists and three steals.
• Kate Fitzpatrick scored 12 points for the second consecutive game.
• Cristina Fernandez and Riley Hevelow scored four points each.
• LVC forced a season-high 21 turnovers.
