ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's soccer team notched their third straight win with a 3-1 victory over Widener Saturday afternoon.
Lebanon Valley (4-3-3, 3-0 MAC Commonwealth) was the first to get on the board in the 38
th minute when Widener (5-4-3, 1-1-1 MAC Commonwealth) put away an own goal off a free kick from
Kyra Rishell. In the 61
st minute,
Hannah Ferguson put away a second point for LVC off a corner from
Madison Carper. The Pride responded in the 69
th minute with a goal to make it a 2-1 game. Ferguson, in the 75
th minute, netted another goal off a Carper corner to secure the 3-1 win for Valley.
Inside the Box
- Ferguson put two goals away for LVC for a career-high four-point afternoon and led the team with two shots on goal.
- Carper registered a career-high of two assists off corners in the contest.
- Darrian Berkheimer, Reagan McCarty, and Rishell each tallied one shot on goal.
- Jocelyn Umana played another strong game in between the pipes, making four stops.
