ST. DAVIDS, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's soccer team notched their fourth straight conference victory on Wednesday afternoon, with a 2-1 win over Eastern.
Lebanon Valley (5-3-3, 4-0 MAC Commonwealth) put the first mark in the score column with a goal from
Kyra Rishell in the 30
th minute. The sophomore placed a free kick from far out over the keeper's extended hands, into the top left corner, to open scoring on the afternoon. The Eagles responded in the 39
th minute to tie the contest 1-1 going into halftime. In the 76
th minute,
Kaitlyn Brumbaugh put away her first collegiate goal off an assist from
Alyssa Peiffer to set LVC up for the 2-1 victory.
