ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's soccer team shutout the Golden Wolves of Alvernia 3-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
The first goal for Lebanon Valley (3-3-3, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth) came from
Darrian Berkheimer in the 73
rdminute. Berkheimer's goal was assisted by a passing sequence from
Kaitlyn Brumbaugh and
Sierra Young. In the 80
th minute of the match up
Alyssa Peiffer put her third goal of the season away off a ball from Young.
Emma Houck finished off the victory for LVC with a goal in the 87
th minute to secure the 3-0 win.
Inside the Box
- Four Dutchmen had two-point afternoons in the contest. Berkheimer, Peiffer, and Houck each put up a goal, while Young dished out her first two collegiate assists.
- Kaitlyn Brumbaugh put up a one-point game with an assist.
- Berkheimer, Peiffer, and Young each put up two shots on net.
- Jessica Lingenfelter, Kyra Rishell, Jordan Lasky, and Houck each contributed one shot on goal.
- Jocelyn Umana put up four saves in the contest to slot another shutout for LVC.
