ANNVILLE, Pa.— The Lebanon Valley field hockey team celebrated their seniors,
Hannah Shirey and
Abbie Keath prior to their matchup against Albright this afternoon. The Dutchmen fell 3-1 in the contest to the Lions in their last regular season home game.
Lebanon Valley (7-9, 3-4 MAC Commonwealth) and the Lions spent the first quarter with a back-and-forth duel to end the quarter scoreless. The Lions were the first to get on the board with goals in the 19
th minute and 29
thminute, taking the 2-0 lead into halftime. Albright (6-9, 3-4 MAC Commonwealth) started scoring off in the second half with a goal in the 34
th minute to take the 3-0 lead over LVC. Shirey then put the lone goal for the Dutchmen on the board in the 39
th minute. Despite efforts from both squads, the fourth quarter was scoreless. LVC fell to the Lions 3-1.
