ANNVILLE, Pa. – Taylor McInerney had 21 kills and 
Ali Whitworth recorded 36 assists and 13 digs to lead the Lebanon Valley College volleyball team against regionally-ranked Franklin & Marshall College on Thursday evening inside Sorrentino Gymnasium in Annville. The Diplomats won the match 3-1.
 
Franklin & Marshall won the opening set 25-19 behind a 6-1 run that turned a tight 12-10 set into a 17-11 lead. The Dutchmen turned the tables in the second set to even the match up winning 25-18. LVC was the team to make a big run as they won seven of the final 10 points in the set. The Diplomats used a big 14-point run in the third set to retake the lead by winning 25-14. The Dutchmen fought valiantly to even the match in the fourth set but fell just short as the visitors won 25-21.

	- McInerney had her eighth match this season with at least 20 kills. She also had a solo block.
- Whitworth recorded at least 35 assists for the eighth time this year and now has 1298 in her two years.
- Kasey Thomas had 12 digs for her 12th match with double digit digs this year.
- Olivia Nace led the team with three block assists and had four kills on nine attacks.
- Margaret Cole had nine kills while Kelli Heffer added five.
Up Next
The Dutchmen will wrap up the regular season next Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. in Chester as they take on Widener University in a contest that will determine seeding for the conference championships the following week.
