ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's volleyball team walked away with a 3-0 sweep over the Albright Lions on Wednesday evening to clinch a berth into the 2022 MAC Commonwealth Championship.
Lebanon Valley (16-6, 4-3 MAC Commonwealth) took the first set 25-13 over the Lions and set two 25-12. Although the Lions started with a five-point lead over the Dutchmen, LVC came back to take a big 25-12 win in the third set to finalize the sweep.
Inside the Box
- Julia Rill led the kills column on the evening, tallying 10. Taylor McInerney and Robyn Stepler followed with five kills.
- Emily Bartlett and Kasey Thomas each handed out five service aces. Devyn Kelley put out her first service ace of her collegiate career.
- Margaret Cole led the blocks category with five, as Stepler followed with four.
- Ali Whitworth dished out 23 assists in the contest. Thomas followed with four as Rill handed out two.
- Bartlett put out a career-high of 17 digs, while leading that statistic column on the evening. Thomas tallied 12 digs, and Rill grabbed 10.
