ST. DAVIDS, Pa. – Nathan Prex continued his strong rookie season with his fifth goal of the year off a beautiful pass from Aidan Negro for the Lebanon Valley men's soccer team in a hard-fought 4-1 defeat at Eastern University on Tuesday afternoon.
Eastern (5-7-1, 2-2-0 MAC Commonwealth) score the only goal of the first half on a header by Evan Cope in the 23rd minute. LVC (6-6-2, 1-1-2 MAC Commonwealth) tied things up 96 seconds into the second half as Negron sent a pass over the top of the Eastern defense to a streaking Prex just outside the box. Prex took one touch of the ball and then sailed it over the head on an on-coming keeper and into the back of the net. The Eagles retook the lead in the 52nd minute and then added insurance goals in the 70th and 83rd minutes.
