ANNVILLE, Pa – The Lebanon Valley men's soccer team took a huge 7-1 win over Hood on Saturday afternoon.
Lebanon Valley (7-6-2, 2-1-2 MAC Commonwealth) was the first to get on the board with a point from
Aaron Weitzel, off a pass from
Peter Foerster in the 4
th minute. Less then 30 seconds later
Aidan Negron put another ball in the back of the net off a pass from
Nathan Prex, to make it a 2-0 game. The Blazers responded in the 18
th minute to make it a 2-1 game. Negron responded in the 37
th minute off a ball from
Zach Creighton to make it a 3-1 game going into half-time. LVC put all four goals away in the second half. In the 61
st minute,
Anderson Velozwong put a goal away off another Prex assist. Matthew Weinstock-Collings put away another goal in the 67
th minute off a pass from
Ethan Groff to make it a 5-1 game.
Zach Snider put away two more goals from the Dutchmen in the 70
th and 79
th minutes to cap off the 7-1 win for LVC.
Inside the Box
- Negron and Snider both put away two goals for LVC. Velozwong, Weitzle, and Weinstock-Collins each put away one goal.
- Prex led the assists column with two on the afternoon. Harrison Davis, Creighton, Foerster, and Groff each put up an assist.
- Dalton Fitterling and Edward Zellner split time in net to put up one save on the afternoon.
