READING, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College women's soccer team scored three goals in the final 30 minutes to defeat Albright College 3-1 on Saturday evening at Shirk Stadium in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth opener for both teams.
 
Albright scored first 2:01 into the second half off a corner kick. The Dutchmen pressed for an equalizer and found one in the 64th minute as 
Kyra Rishell sent a free kick from about 40 yards out into the upper right corner to tie things up. Nine minutes later, 
Alyssa Peiffer gave LVC the lead as she tapped in a loose ball off a corner kick from 
Reagan McCarty into the back of the net. Peiffer put the game away with a goal in the 84th minute on a beautiful centering pass from 
Amelia Mantione that was one-timed into the back of the net.
 
Inside the Box Score
	- Peiffer had two goals on five shots. The senior now has three career goals.
 
	- Rishell scored her first goal of the year and second of her career.
 
	- Mantione recorded the first point of her career with her assist.
 
	- The Dutchmen outshot the Lions 19-3 including 12-3 in shots on goal. LVC held a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.
