ANNVILLE, Pa. – Four Albright players scored in double figures as the Lions overcame a nine-point halftime deficit to defeat Lebanon Valley in men's basketball Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action on Saturday, Jan. 8. LVC guardÂ
Payton Lewis led all scorers with 23 points—a new career high, besting his previous of 18 against Hood last Wednesday.

How It Happened
- The teams played even through much of the first half. Lewis scored eight of his points in a 14-6 run in the last seven minutes to stake LVC to a 34-25 halftime advantage. Evin Timochenko added four points in that stretch.
- Albright turned up the defensive pressure in the second half and ran off an 18-6 spurt to take its first lead 45-44 with 10:58 to play.
- The Dutchmen knotted the game at 48-48 two minutes later on a layup by Lewis before Albright pulled away.

Inside the Numbers
- LVC's Collin Jones notched his sixth double-double on the season with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
- Timochenko finished with eight points to go with 11 rebounds.
- LVC now stands at 6-7 (2-3 MACC). Albright moves to 5-8 (2-4 MACC).Â
