ANNVILLE, Pa. – Gabby Boggs and Abby Gaffney posted double-doubles to lead Albright women's basketball team to a 52-31 win over Lebanon Valley in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play on Saturday, Jan. 8. Kate Fitzpatrick paced the Dutchmen with 10 points.
 
How It Happened

• Albright jumped out to a 14-7 lead after the first quarter and led 27-11 at halftime.
• LVC posted its best offensive quarter in the third, scoring 15 points, behind two treys from Jordan Zimmerman and five points from Fitzpatrick. Chardae Stone also scored four in that stretch. 

Inside the Numbers

• Zimmerman, a first-year player, went 3-for-4 from the floor, including a pair of three-point shots for a season-high 8 points.
• Stone added six points, while Jaime Youngkin finished with a team-high seven rebounds.
• Albright's Boggs led all scorers with 18 points and dominated the glass with 27 rebounds. Gaffney finished with 17 points and 11 boards.
• LVC now stands at 7-8 (2-4 MACC). Albright moves to 8-3 (3-1 MACC). 

Who's Next
LVC travels to Alvernia on Wednesday, Jan. 12 for a 6 p.m. MACC game.
