BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Kennedy Kuffa scored a team-high eight points as the Lebanon Valley women's basketball team dropped a 44-33 non-conference game at Moravian in the 18th Steel Club Classic. Kuffa, a junior guard, stuffed the stat sheet with seven rebounds, five blocks, two assists, and one steal.

How It Happened

• After a slow offensive start to the game, LVC climbed back to within 11-7 after the first quarter.
• The Dutchmen tied the game at 15-15 midway through the second quarter on a three-point shot from Kate Fitzpatrick. The teams went to the break knotted at 19 apiece.
• Fitzpatrick gave LVC the lead at 8:17 of the third quarter before Moravian rattled off a 10-4 run to build a 39-29 advantage after three.
• In the fourth, defense ruled the quarter as both teams combined for just nine points.

Inside The Numbers

• Moravian's Sam Osorio tallied a game-high 18 points.
• LVC's Fitzpatrick finished with five points, five boards, and two assists.
• Kuffa's five blocks set a new career high.
• LVC now stands at 7-6 on the season, while Moravian improves to 3-9.

The Dutchmen return to the court on Wednesday, Jan. 5, with a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth matchup at Hood. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
