HERSHEY, Pa. –
Mark Kishko scored the game-winning goal to send Lebanon Valley men's ice hockey to a 4-2 victory over Nazareth in United Collegiate Hockey Conference action on Saturday, Jan. 22 at Hersheypark Arena.
After a flurry of activity in front of the net, Kishko swooped in from the left wing and found the back of the net. The goal at 12:00 of the third gave the Dutchmen a 3-2 lead.
First-year goalie
Ty Franchi and the defense then came to the rescue, killing off a three-minute power play before Nazareth took its own penalty, surrendering the advantage. Franchi finished with 29 saves to earn the win in his first career start.

Coach Says
"It's good to get a win under our belt. We've been working hard trying to find an identity. The guys went out and did a great job with the systems. They worked hard, worked smart. It was great throwing
Ty Franchi in there, getting him his first win. We hope to turn this into a snowball effect, start winning some games, getting into playoff contention," said head coach
Don Parsons.
