OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Collin Jones and Evin Timochenko paced Lebanon Valley with 18 points in a 77-66 loss at Stevenson on Saturday, Jan. 22 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action.
 
Timochenko went a perfect 8-for-8 from the floor and added a pair of free throws. Zach Tucker finished in double digits with 13 points, including going 3-for-5 from behind the arc.
 
How It Happened
  • LVC started strong, scoring 10 of the game's first 12 points. Stevenson settled in to a rhythm and pulled within 22-18 with 7:27 to play.
  • The teams traded runs with the Dutchmen pulling ahead 31-20, before the Mustangs closed the half with an 11-5 run to make the halftime score 36-31 in favor of LVC.
  • Jones registered 15 of his 18 points in the first half.. Jaylen Reichner added eight points, including a pair of three-point buckets.
  • In the second half, LVC continued to lead until Khalil Richard's three-pointer put the Mustangs up 47-44 with 14:15 to go. Stevenson tightened up its defense and pushed the lead to 68-52 with 4:45 left in the game. 
Inside the Numbers
  • Timochenko has scored in double figures in nine of 15 games this season.
  • Tucker broke the 1200-point plateau and ranks 22nd all-time on the Dutchmen leader boards.

LVC (5-11, 2-7 MACC) hosts York on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. in Sorrentino Gymnasium.
