Kate Fitzpatrick scored a career-high 26 points to lead LVC women's basketball past visiting Eastern University, 63-46, on Wednesday, Jan. 19, in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth basketball play. She has hit double figures in six of her 10 games this season.

Kennedy Kuffa added nine points for the Dutchmen and
Jaime Youngkin added seven.

How It Happened
- Eastern led 11-10 after the first quarter, but LVC owned the second.
- The Dutchmen outscored Eastern 19-7 in the second to establish a 29-18 halftime advantage. Four points from Youngkin and three-pointers by Samya Santiague and Rachel Bell fueled the run.
- LVC maintained a comfortable lead through the second half, with Kuffa and Fitzpatrick each hitting clutch buckets behind the arc.
Inside the Numbers
- Eight Dutchmen scored in the game, and LVC's bench outscored Eastern's 12-2.
- LVC shot 48.9% from the floor while holding Eastern to 32%.
- LVC held the lead for 85% of the game.
