GENESEO, N.Y. –
Alex Borowiec scored a power-play goal in Lebanon Valley men's ice hockey's 8-1 loss to #2 Geneseo on Friday, Jan. 14.
After Geneseo opened up a 2-0 early advantage,
Artem Mikhaylov started the scoring play at the top of the zone. He found
Darion Benchich who hit Borowiec on the right side of the net for the goal at 12:33 of the first.
The Knights then scored six straight goals, including two of Peter Morgan's three in the game on their way to the win.
Three LVC goalies combined for 40 saves, led by
Aidan Richardson with 17.
Cole Bradley tallied 12 in 14 minutes of action, and
Gabriel Pigeon added 11 in 18 minutes in the net.
Inside the Numbers
- Borowiec's third goal of the season moved him into a tie with a team-high 13 points. He has points in five of his last seven games.

LVC continues its New York swing and will face Brockport on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 4 p.m.
