BROCKPORT, N.Y. –
Alex Borowiec scored his second goal in as many games as LVC men's ice hockey dropped a 3-1 game at Brockport on Saturday, Jan. 15.
After Brockport's Jake Colosanti opened the scoring with a power play goal early in the first period, Borowiec answered back with a power play goal of his own at 13:39 of the second to tie the game at 1-1.
Blake Tosto earned the assist, his seventh of the season.
With the game tied at 1-1 heading into the final period, Brockport struck again on the power play. Connor Galloway scored at 12:34. Mitchell Parsons added the final Golden Eagles goal seven minutes later.
LVC's
Aidan Richardson stopped 49 shots in goal.
Inside the Numbers
- LVC held a 37-26 advantage in face-offs led by Viola who won 16-of-21.
- Richardson's 49 saves were the most since Henry Burns turned away 55 shots against Stevenson in February 2020.
