SCRANTON, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's Men's Tennis team finished off the team portion of its 2021 fall schedule with a 6-3 victory over the University of Scranton on Wednesday afternoon. With only ITA's remaining, the Flying Dutchmen went a perfect 4-0 in team competition this fall. The Royals fell to 0-2.
 
LVC started the day off with three straight victories in doubles action, beginning with No. 1 Brendan Byler and Adam Warren's 8-7 (7-1) win. Then, from the No. 2 spot, Jeffrey Bauer and William Harriger won another close match at 8-7 (7-1). Finally, Michael Schuetz and Nicholas Simon earned an 8-4 win in No. 3 doubles.
 
In singles action, Jeffrey Bauer took down Nathan Tauber 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2. At No. 4 singles, reigning MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week, Adam Warren, blanked Sal Sullivan 6-0, 6-0. Then, from the No. 5 spot, Brady McLucas won a three-setter 6-3, 1-6, 6-1 for the Dutchmen.
 
LVC is back in action this weekend (Oct. 1-3) at the ITA Regional Tournament, hosted by Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va.
