SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's Men's Tennis team picked up a 6-3 victory over Susquehanna University on Saturday afternoon. The Dutchmen remain unbeaten at 3-0 in the Fall while the River Hawks fall to 3-1.
The River Hawks held a 2-1 advantage after the doubles portion of the match. The #1 doubles duo of
Justin Schuetz and
Adam Warren picked up the lone win for LVC with an 8-3 victory.
In singles play, the Dutchmen picked up five wins in the six matches with their only loss coming via withdrawal. J. Schuetz picked up a straight-set win at top singles.
Brendan Byler cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win at the #3 singles slot. At #4 singles, Warren picked up a 6-3, 6-4 win as well as
Michael Schuetz at #6 singles.
Brady McLucas at #5 singles wrapped up the Dutchmen victories with the lone three-set match of the afternoon.
