ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley College's Esports program was in action last week in numerous events.
In preseason action on Sept. 13, a team of
Jacob Layton,
Andrew Seneca,
Jon Lam, Alex Sarris, and
Claudio Hernandez dropped a 1-0 decision to Bryant University and a 1-0 match to Mount Union in Valorant.
LVC's Overwatch team, comprised of
Jacob Triano, Ben McDonnell,
Colin Brophy,
Logan Matter,
Cade Kassay, and Cooper Vohs fell 3-0 to Harrisburg University.
Then, on Sept. 14,
Mason Garza,
Dylan Lower, and Brycen Geiger competed in three Rocket League matches. The team defeated Hofstra and Eastern 1-0, respectively, before falling 1-0 to Northwestern College.
On Sept. 15, the Dutchmen's Rainbow Six Siege team of Jacob Marsh, Jack Moskowitz, David Palmer, Joseph Beidler, and
Syryth Mitchell took down West Chester University 1-0 in exhibition play. Then, Marsh, Moskowitz, Palmer, Beidler, and
Ki Shon blanked Central Michigan University 1-0 in preseason action.
Also on Sept. 15,
Andrew Kierce,
Ethan Filbert, Bryson Zvoncheck, and Arthur Dragomir edged Shenandoah University 3-2 in Call of Duty. In Overwatch NACE Varsity play on Sept. 16, Triano, McDonnell, Brophy, Matter, Kassay, and Vohs shut out DeSales 3-0.
On Sept. 17 in CS:GO play, Connor Hirons,
Brandon Kemmery,
Brandon Bauer,
Dustin Haberstumpf, and
Trent Petro defeated Queen's University 2-0.
