WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Men's Soccer team lost their first match of the season 3-2 against former MAC Commonwealth foe Lycoming on Saturday afternoon. The Dutchmen fall to 5-1 while the Warriors now sit at 4-2-1.

How It Happened
  • The first half would get off to a quick start for both teams as each side was on the scoreboard just 7:02 into the match. The Dutchmen would score first at the 6:07 mark via an own goal by Lycoming to take an early lead. The Warriors would answer just 52 seconds later to bring the game back even.
  • Coming out of halftime, the score was tied 1-1, when Lycoming's Joe Bamfo would score his second goal of the game to give the Warriors their first lead of the contest in the 57th minute.
  • In the 76th minute, Jaedan Asare would extend the LVC deficit with another score to put LVC in a 3-1 hole with just under 15 minutes remaining.
  • Josh Kline would get a late goal to pull the Dutchmen within one, but there was just 3:30 remining in regulation and LVC would be unable to complete the comeback attempt as they fell 3-2.
