SCRANTON, Pa. – A big second half downed the Lebanon Valley Women's Soccer team 4-0 at Scranton on Thursday evening. The Dutchmen fall to 0-3-1 on the season while the Royals improve to 4-0.

How It Happened
  • The first half featured 13 total shots but no goals as neither offense was able to find the back of the net as the two sides went into the break scoreless.
  • The Royals got their offense going in the second half as they tallied four second-half goals within a span of 25:32. Grace Elliott would score a pair of goals in the 49th and 54th minutes to put Scranton quickly ahead 2-0 early in the second half.
  • Niahm Healy would tack on a pair of goals in the 71st and 75th minutes to put the game out of reach as Scranton would down LVC 4-0.
Inside The Numbers
  • The Dutchmen were outshot 15-10 for the game and 8-3 with shots on goal.
  • The Royals held an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.
  • The two teams played a clean game with only eight combined fouls for the match.

The Dutchmen return home this Saturday when they host King's College (Pa.) in a MAC crossover match at Herbert Field. Kickoff slated for 1 p.m.
