ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Women's Soccer team fought to a 1-1 draw against Haverford in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon. LVC is now 0-2-1 while the Fords move to 2-1-1.

How It Happened
  • The Dutchmen would waste little time getting on the scoreboard. At the 4:45 mark of the contest, Alyssa Peiffer would intercept a pass just outside the box in the Haverford defensive end and would float a shot over the keeper to give LVC an early 1-0 lead.
  • The two teams would each generate multiple scoring chances for the remainder of the first half but the score would remain 1-0 into intermission.
  • Haverford would get the equalizing goal in the 74th minute when Celia Page sent a low cross into the box from the left wing and Mia Reyes would gather the ball right in front of the Dutchmen net and would poke it into the back of the net. The game would head into overtime tied 1-1.
  • Both teams had opportunities to record a game-winner in extra time but neither would be successful as the two sides has to settle for a 1-1 draw.
