How It Happened
YORK, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's men's lacrosse team played their second ranked opponent in a row, this time the third-ranked York (Pa.) Spartans, and struggled to crack the Spartans stingy defense as LVC fell 15-3 on Saturday afternoon. The Dutchmen drop to 4-4, 1-3 MACC, while York remains unbeaten this season at 9-0, 4-0 MACC.

The Spartans would jump ahead of the Dutchmen early and never looked back scoring five goals in the final 9:24 of the opening quarter, including a back-breaker by Jacob Wilhelm with just one second to go as LVC found themselves in an early 5-0 hole after one period. The second quarter was also controlled by York as the Spartans found the back of the net seven times while keeping the Dutchmen offense off the board and LVC trailed 12-0 at half.

Alex Kiviniemi would score with 3:34 left in the third period to get LVC on the board. He would add a second tally and a Josh Croyle score in the fourth would be all the offense could muster as the Dutchmen eventually dropped the contest 15-3.
