ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's Men's Tennis team continued its torrid start to the 2021 season by shutting out Lycoming 9-0 on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action. The Flying Dutchmen moved to 2-0, while the Warriors dropped to 1-1.

At No. 1 doubles,
Jeffrey Bauer and
Brendan Byler teamed up to win 8-4, while
Luke Senft and
Ben Hinkley dominated Luke Leach and Casey Haas at No. 2 by a score of 8-1. Finally, LVC earned its third doubles win of the afternoon after
William Harriger and
Jonathan Yenser took down Frank Summerson and Jason Anderson 8-2.

The Dutchmen's success in doubles carried over to singles action, beginning with Hinkley's 6-4, 6-3 win over Nate Redell at No. 1 singles. Byler cruised 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, while Senft won easily at No. 3 singles by a margin of 6-1, 6-1. Yenser found success at No. 4 singles with a 6-1, 6-4 win, by
Nicholas Simon took down Jason Anderson 6-2, 6-0 at No. 5 singles. Finally, Bauer breezed through Frank Summerson at No. 6 singles at 6-1, 6-0.

LVC returns to action on Thursday, April 1, when the Dutchmen head to Misericordia for a match beginning at 3 p.m.
