Stevenson 2, Lebanon Valley 0
How It Happened
REISTERSTOWN, Md. – The Lebanon Valley women's ice hockey team were blanked by Stevenson 2-0 in a rescheduled game on Friday evening. LVC drops to 0-8-1 while Stevenson improves to 6-3.
In what was a defensive battle for most of the contest, Stevenson recorded both of their goals in the opening period in a span of just 2:21. Just after the midway point of the first period, Trinity Barcless would fire one into the back of the net to give the Mustangs the lead. A few minutes later, Stevenson took advantage of a powerplay opportunity and Paige Sullivan would score to double the deficit for the Dutchmen.
The LVC defense would shut down the Stevenson offense for the remainder of the game, unfortunately for the Dutchmen however, the Mustang defense would keep the clamps on the LVC attack keeping them off the scoreboard as Stevenson would grab the 2-0 win.
Inside The Numbers
